Anil Seth on Machine Consciousness

Anil Seth is a scientific adviser to Conscium. In this article he argues that machine consciousness is possible, but highly unlikely to arise in Large Language Models. He says that brains are not like computers, and it may be life, rather than information processing, that creates the spark of consciousness.
